And not to be a jerk or anything, I promise, but I’d rather not. I spent a lot of effort in coming up with something unique just for my sister, plus drawing the chart was quite laborious, it literally took me hours upon hours to get it where the final product wouldn’t be absolutely huge. (The knitting chart image is not quite pixel-for-pixel.) So I hope you understand my reluctance to just give it away, especially since I made it as a present for someone else.

Firstly, I totally should have done this forever ago. Secondly… There is no secondly. Lets get into it. 1) I really really like the color purple, which is super obvious if you know me irl but probably not so much if you just follow me. Lets see. I have purple glasses, tons of purple shirts, purple jeans, a purple denim jacket, purple makeup and jewelry. My walls and floor in my room are purple. I’ve dyed my hair purple multiple times. And when I walk into a room, my eye picks out the purple things first. 2) I’m an environmentalist, which was something that was kind of always in the background of my life until I started going to my camp, Robin’s Nest in Maine. 3) I’m one of four children. I’m the oldest and we’re all girls. And we were all born on a Thursday. 4) I absolutely love music. I have played piano, flute, violin, oboe, and guitar. I still play flute and guitar and I love singing. If I’m not listening to music, it’s too quiet. And I sing along to everything I know and some things I don’t know. 5) I’m a psych major and want to get my phD and become a therapist. 6) But ideally, I’d like to make money from traveling, performing and teaching spoken word poetry. 7) I often wish I was an artist rather than a writer because I feel like visual art is a much more accessible art form for almost every type of person. 8) I’m Jewish and I’m still figuring out exactly how Jewish I am and what I believe and what I want to practice. 9) I spent most of my life being on the outskirts of my groups of friends and I’ve always hated it. This year I finally found the group that I felt I was an integral part of. Unfortunately, now that we’re all home, we’re scattered across the country and I feel like I’m back where I started. 10) I feel lost a lot. I get really bad depression. I feel broken and dead and just hurt. A lot.
