#fieldstudy of my first #gyrfalcon yesterday at the northern end of lake Cayuga! It mostly sat on the ice, but I was lucky enough to see it take off! The bottom scribble is he best impression I could do based on the memory of it, ha. It was pretty far away and it didn't occur to me to try digiscoping it, so this squat little doodle will have to do.
