Korn Interview
I love this album so much.
I am genuinely confused and honestly a bit mad at people who wanna say Lars is a terrible drummer and wanna hate on him... Also how they say "It should've been Lars" when it comes to Cliff's death
No one should've died that night of the bus accident. But saying "it should've been Lars" is immature in a way and is rude. Lars was Cliff's friend. And if it did end up being Lars instead of Cliff, everyone would be acting like they are with Cliff. Saying they miss him and wish he didn't die
I feel that Cliff was one of those people that was made to be here for a limited time to teach us something new, to break down whatever walls are built. He was obviously very different and way ahead of his time. He was special and smart. I do hate how he had to die but from what we all know, he didn't wake up. So that means he didn't feel anything, the death was instant. And I hate to say it, but probably the only "good" thing of that accident is that Cliff didn't feel pain
Also, if I'm correct, Lars had some sort of influence on Ray Luzier (Korn) Joey Jordison (Slipknot). Not to mention how many Metallica fans he's inspired to play drums
I'm sure if you were a very shitty drummer, you wouldn't inspire other people to play drums.. Let alone still be in a band that is very big and well known now
Sorry for this random and long rant but I just needed to get it off my chest
