Meet my @thefierce50revolution foursome for June! We were posed this question: What is the biggest hurdle that you've overcome in these 50+ years? Lesley Wolman @lesleywolman : I put my singing and acting career on hold after the birth of my first child. It felt like the right thing to do at the time and although I have no regrets, it was difficult not to perform. When my youngest was in middle school, I re-entered the performing world by doing my own cabaret shows and recording albums. Now that my kids are grown, my blog, Fabulesley, seems the perfect fit this my empty nest phase of my life, as I continue to sing and perform. Nicole Mölders @highlatitudestyle : being a woman in a (still today) traditionally male work field was a big hurdle to overcome. Jodie Filogomo @jtouchofstyle : my hurdle was getting out of a abusive relationship. I planned for months on how to kill myself, but luckily got the courage to get divorced instead. Catherine Grace O’Connell @catherinegraceo : the biggest hurdle that I have overcome is recovering from Lyme Disease almost taking my life 2 years ago. Having spent a year unable to walk, it took every ounce of my will to not only survive but to thrive and reinvent myself on every level. How about you? What has been your big hurdle? #fierce50followfriday #fierce50Revolution #fierce50 #womensupportingwomen #ageisjustanumber #fashionsketch
