An Imperfect person In an imperfect world With imperfect toughts And actions designed by a perfect creator who never falls back or gives in or gives up on me. I thank God everyday I wake That he loves me anyway He sees me with eyes of virtue The way He designed me with fire refined me, unearthed and mined me Like a treasure in his eyes Not denying my faults, he never assaults yet calls me to be salt and light in world so dim so full of sin, that his love transcends and redeems me in spite of my stains. You see, he put this power inside and tells me never to hide and resides even when I fall and cry in my lies. When I give in to the pull of sin he never leaves me never forsakes me never abandons me but his spirit does shake me down to the core and he may break me because his love does adore enough to shatter and rebuild me for His honor and His glory. It is by grace that I am saved because he freely forgave and calls me no longer a slave but free to stand in fullness of serenity. Understand me when I say I am fully and utterly sold out to Him because it's His spirit that gave me power over the grave, death and sin And it's by His spirit that I have this joy that no one can explain or destroy and it is this joy unspeakable, unstoppable, uncontainable and never ending that fills me to overflowing. So who am I? I am a child of the Most High God; set apart for a purpose and a plan. I am a determined daughter running this race from the beginning to the end.
