“What do you want with me?” Addy glared at him, the redhead was tied to a chair with both wrists behind her back.
“Really? What do I want with you?” Jackson raised his eyebrow, surprised at how idiotic other people were. It truly shocked him sometimes. “You saw something you weren’t meant to see...” because you’re an idiot who doesn’t lock a door when they torture someone “...but I’m opposed to killing women, unless they really deserve it. So I’m trying to figure out what to do with you.”

Today had felt even more alone than usual. It had gotten to the point where every second she maintained at work, Harper’s heart broke even more. What brought her joy had been ruined for the day, people had been sending her nasty packages and comments about the downfall of the Rawlings dynasty. There was undesirable, devious, evil, unworthy, horrendous. She had heard it all. Seen it all. When the redhead had closed up that evening, she made her way to a remote river, where she always went to fall apart in silence. As she stood on the bridge, staring down at the water, she feels a presence behind her. Harper didn’t have it in her to snap or make astounding one liners. “What is it?” Her voice was quiet, soft.
"No sleeping on the job, Lightwood."
❝Hrrrrna---❞ Because really that's all she gets. A grumpy mess of blond hair, and a grouchy growl from where his face is planted in the pillows. Try harder.

Greek gods? They were kind of cool, if you managed to forget the fact that one of them was supposedly your parent and (usually) acted nothing like it. Learning that the Greek myths she’d learned about in school were real had been neat. Learning that she was a part of it? Not always so neat.
Take right now, for good measure.
Her fingers fumbled on the hair tie around her wrist, sliding it over and down her hand before grasping it and pulling it back. The only magical weapon that she’d made on her own, the hair tie turned into a small poison dart launcher when snapped once.
She was only a few miles from camp. It was just New York City.
But there was a baby manticore right in front of her, hissing and spitting and looking like it had every intent of killing her.
(Greek Gods were cool. Greek monsters? Not so much.)
"Come on, come on." The fourteen year old breathed, going for the knife in her boot. The dart had hit the manticore’s shoulder, but it hadn’t even stumbled. She’d have to increase the potency of her poison, but that wasn’t gonna help her now.
Jaylin reached for the knife in her boot, brandishing it towards the manticore. "For fuck’s sake," She started to advance on the monster, but a noise behind her caught her attention.
A girl, older than her, tattooed with - well, it wasn’t the strangest symbols she’d ever seen, but she didn’t have time to think about it right now.
"Don’t just stand there.”
Hiatus.
Okay guise, I have to kind of go on a mini hiatus for the next two weeks. I have a lot of school work to do and I can't distract myself with you lovely people ;~;
BUT I WILL RETURN TO RESPOND TO EVERYTHING I PROMISE
I know there are people I owe things.

You're beyond perf woman. Like you are practically Clary and Tessa and Jesus woman you could roleplay any character you wanted to. Buuuut I will not accept that compliment because it took me how long to get to? Nope. You, Ellie (I still feel as if I'm talking to myself), deserve all the ♔'s here.
Oh and did my edit get you any followers? It got like 800 notes so I will be plenty annoyed if no one clicked the link.
Bring On The Day II Aria & Clary
Worry seemed to have ebbed itself into Aria's mind, the girl hardly able to concentrate on anything except to wonder where her two best friends were. Although that was all that she seemed to worry about these days. Both Clary and Simon seemed to be off in their own world more than usual, the both of them disappearing on and off, reappearing to apologize to her and then once again going off to wherever it was that they were doing. She at least understood that Simon was trying to figure out what was going on with Clary and she was just as worried too but there was only so much you could do when a person just didn't want to talk about whatever it was that was on their mind. There was only so much that could happen though before Aria could put her foot down and she was sick and tired of being worried sick for her friend and she intended to get some answers one way or another.
Taking a deep breath Aria had grabbed her coat, her keys and phone and walked straight out of her house only sending her mother a quick text to let her know she was going out for the day, intending to talk to Clary. Luckily the red heads apartment was not too far away and within walking distance and the girl knew the pathway like the back of her hand, having spent a lot of time there. Within several minutes Aria had arrived, the girl glancing around before going up to the steps and to the door, Aria licking her lips and feeling as though her stomach was tying into knots. Hesitantly Aria brought her hand to the door to give a steady knock, the brunette taking a step back and suddenly she was brought with the fear that maybe Clary wouldn't even be home and this whole trip was a waste. Then what would she do? Aria didn't have time to think over anything though because soon enough the door had opened for her, Aria taking a breath and and raising her eyebrows. "Long time no see..."
