Moments Between the Madness - Chapter 9 ("The Tomb of Innocence")

"After a while it got easier to believe. To forget what I was doing until it just didn't matter anymore. But I don't want to forget. I don't want to be like him.” It was only when he turned his head and found the hero still watching him with that honest, earnest, undivided attention the way he always did, the way no one else ever had, that Sylar discovered why his secrets were spilling out of him of their own volition. Because Peter was listening to him. “Don't let me forget, Peter.”

This one's a pretty emotional chapter from start to finish - I hope all the feels make up for having to wait so long to read it! Enjoy <3

Ok I just signed in to catch up with you lovely people (and possibly drop a new Moments Between the Madness chapter ^.^) and discovered it's been 4 months since I was last on tumblr???? Is this how it feels to skip through time and space like Hiro? XD

Moments Between the Madness - Chapter 8 ("A Little Thing Like Danger")

“I'm a killer, Peter,” Sylar said softly, “it's all I am.” Watching him, Peter swept his drying hair behind his ear where most of it refused to stay put. “I used to think that. Now I'm not so sure.” Sylar struggled to hide how deafened he was by the lack of alarm bells in his skull ringing 'lie'.

The closer he gets to finally finding his father, the more Sylar can't help but wish he could take even longer to get there...

I know I promised this chapter a while ago, and here it is, the longest one so far to thank you for your patience between updates! X) I look forward to sharing these events of the story with you and hope you think it was worth the wait!

On a good writing day, I somehow managed to finish the next chapter of Moments Between the Madness and almost the following one too! Now I can't decide if I should wait and post them together or not.

Our hungry fugitives make a detour for some breakfast, some vandalism, a little heart-to-heart and an accidental electrocution...

“What do you want me to say, Peter? The voices made me do it? I was possessed the whole time?" Sylar took a swig of coffee, making a show of it. “The truth is I've killed even when I didn't have my abilities. I could have stopped more than once and I didn't. So sorry to disappoint you but I'm no victim, and it's really not that complicated.”

The empath turned those eyes of his from the foggy, rain-speckled window back onto Sylar, if only to watch him squirm.

"I don't believe you."

I love that you're so excited for the ending of ToF!!! I'm really, really excited for it too, can't wait to share it with you. I'll admit I've possibly been holding it back a little because I want the ending to be perfect, conclude everything it needs to conclude while doing justice to the whole fic and 6 years of work (yes, 6 years!!), but I can't hold it hostage forever hehe.

Once I've finalised the last scene I'll have it ready and posted asap! Thanks for remembering my story, and for coming back to it after all this time, I truly hope the ending lives up to what you're hoping for ^.^
