Hunting was a DIFFICULT & DANGEROUS world. Not everyone came in realizing that fact and while he’s certain TALOS won’t take kindly to that sentiment he figures it’d be better to BOLD FACED ask him than to dance around it while they’re trekking the SANDY plateaus. It’s the best course of action for both of them and it’s BETTER for his own sanity in general.

He figures it’s best not to think too much into it lest he wish to frustrate himself. He suspects the answer will center around Talos being INSULTED at his inclination but after a moment FINGER tips run along the book in his hand and he shakes his head.

THERE’S a mixture of GRAVENESS & discontent in his voice as he listens intently. USUALLY being a treasure hunter with someone to watch your back was a good thing, BUT it meant that one day the training wheels would EVENTUALLY have to come off one way or another. A BREATH escapes him, brow furrowed for a second as he runs a hand across his own features for a second before shaking his head.

      “i don’t know about you but i could probably spend most of my time here.” basking in the sun at the water park and relaxing is much more enjoyable for the empath than being in the crowd with too many people getting frustrated while waiting to ride all the rides.

Okay but headcanon where Karter is disguised by Talos ordering a doner kebabs meat and chips with garlic sauce and chilli sauce from a local Kebab shop in London.
