An absolutely fantastic day to go to the beach. My girl was so well behaved! Everything we've been doing has been paying off tremendously. So much so I was able to let her flat out gallop. Sadly I don't have video or pictures of that, but it was super fun to let her just run. Even after letting her gallop, she calmed down and relaxed into the rest of the ride. Then we made it back to the trailer, took off some tack and went swimming. I love that she didn't hesitate going in. Once she got to a certain point she had to wait for the others to go deeper. But she was awesome and swam. Then after we all rode, I walked her into the water and we hung out there for a bit, just being somewhat weightless. It was nice feeling that way in the water, since Ive felt a little weighted down by stuff lately. I hope she got something out of it too. . Oh, in some of the swimming pictures, I have my hands high, and that's because she is dumb and doesn't like keep her head up when swimming so I have to remind her she is not aquatic lol. Although she did shove her face down before we even got deep enough to swim. Despite her dislike of the hose, she loves the water! . Thank you Susan ( @white.horse.polo.ranch ) for taking us.
