5 bops that I don't get why they're not a hit single(or even be singles) or 5 pop songs that I recommend(they're not the best ones from this artist but are nice ones to dance and have fun for a while).
Hey guys, in this post I'm going to write about 4 songs that, in my opinion, should have been a big hit (they're even singles).
1-almost love:sabrina carpenter:in general, all her eras before "Short and sweet" are sooooo underrated(there's too many singles and songs to mention here but in this time I'm gonna talk about this)
this song maybe don't talk about a interesting topic or in a interesting like she'll does in "because I liked a boy" or "emails I can't send"(the song)(These two are highly recommended so you can witness Sabrina's skills as a singer-songwriter (as well as the entire "Emails I can't send" album).
back to the topic, this song it's a simple fun electropop("Almost Love" stands out for Sabrina's interpretation when singing it and its upbeat production (it is a very simple song but one of the most danceable singles on this list, it would be perfect to play at a party or something similar). it's really fun to sing it,also the music video is prettty gorgeous with those outfits(You can also take a look at the remix, which may not have aged as well, but you'll like it if you're a fan of the electropop from late 2010's )
2-Sauced up - Fifth Harmony
I will never understand why someone would rather "down" as a lead single instead this hidden gem, that's all I got to say,I like the diva vibe I feel in this.(maybe this could've a really huge hit from late 2010's but it doesn't have a music video😭).
3-My boy only break his favorite toys-Taylor swift
I think this one or "Florida!!!" could be a interesting way to start a new era(I like fornight But it's doesn't feel that much like a new era, atleast the vibe of song, the lyric and the music video are a showed of taylor's skills)
But talking of this one,I really like the beat it's sound pretty similar to "1989" era, gives it that banger vibe,Also accompanied by interesting lyrics about a person who loses who they are in a toxic relationship.(it'd amazing could watch a music video of it but it doesn't happen)
4-Can friends kiss?-Camila cabello
This is definitely the most underrated 2024 album from a pop girlie
it's full of bangers like "He knows","DREAM-GIRLS" and "dade county dreaming"(I really love the last one) and really amazing ballads like "june gloom" and "B.O.A.T" accompanied by a production that is completely different from what Camila has done before (although with certain details such as the autotune feeling oversaturated on many occasions) but it is still quite great to see a pop star try to change her image so abruptly.
Months later, the deluxe version would come out, where I highlight that the ones I liked the most were the ballad "GOSPEED" and "can friends kiss?" (this one is a fucking hit) I listen to this song so much that it almost entered my top 5 of the Spotify wrapped of 2024.
I still have hope that I can be single, even though it seems like the era is over, I'm not so sure, hope is the last thing to be lost.
5-Talk fast - 5sos
I already know some songs from 5sos before this year(just "Youngblood" and "easier" and I think I listened "amnesia" before but I'm not that sure of it)(and I heard some stuff from Luke solo career)
But in 2024 I got more into their music(I still doesn't hear their entire discography but I listen too many thing of them in the whole year)(But they were still my fourth most listened to artist on spotify in 2024 ) (I really like they're pop punk era and how the changed their sound as band, something pretty uncommon it bands in pop music) but I'll talk about'em in another ocasion,In this era got another songs that could be awesome singles like "Woke up in japan" and "more" But now I'm going to talk about "talk fast" it's really a song pretty soft but hits hard with a lyric about a love-affairs Honestly I understand why it didn't was a single 'cause 2018 pop music was more upbeat than this song but I still thing it's could be a good single with a music video.
