YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
So. You don't ship Castiel. I can see if you dislike it, but, it wanting to claw your face off is a little... Grand. Why do you hate it so much? Feel free to rant :D
Sorry, did you mean Destiel?
Destiel is the worst. Because those two assholes will never admit that they care about each other even though they've saved each other countless times in numerous ways and once Castiel loses his faith in God, he turns to Dean to give his life meaning. And then Dean relies on Cas to be his one true friend, because while he has a beautiful relationship with his brother, they can never truly be friends, because Dean is too busy trying to take care of him, even if he doesn't need to, and Cas can fend for himself, even when he falls, and Dean sees him as more of an equal, whereas he sees Sam as a little brother who needs him to protect him from the things that go bump in the night, because that's what's been ingrained in his head since he was four years old, since he carried Sam out of his burning home. And Dean knows he can trust Cas, even when everyone around him is doubting his loyalties, because Cas has always been there for him. And when he realizes Cas has been lying to him, he doesn't know what to think. The one person (well, angel) he thought he could trust in the entire known universe has betrayed him. And he wants to forgive him, for things to go back to the way they were, but he's a stubborn ass like his father, and he doesn't want to get hurt again. Because, as much as he tried to stop it, he's grown fond of the angel, and put all of his faith into him, but the angel let him down, and now he doesn't know what to think, because if the one thing he believed in can't manage to stay by his side, then what possibly can? And Cas is beginning to doubt his faith in Dean, and he carries on his downward path because he thinks he's doing the right thing, that it'll please Dean in the long run, and he doesn't mean to hurt him, he never meant to hurt him, and he goes out of his way to help him even when he's been abandoned. And these two assholes have so much they need to get off their chest, all this pent-up guilt and rage and hurt. And their relationship is so broken, it has been from the beginning, dysfunctional and co-dependent. And Dean will always choose Sam over Castiel, he knows it, Cas knows it. But Cas never lets that get in the way of protecting Dean, because Cas knows that no matter what, Dean can be counted on. Dean is Castiel's purpose. Dean is the one thing Castiel truly loves. And he knows he was born without emotion, that what he's feeling must just be the love instilled in him from creation, the love of humanity. He doesn't even give it a passing thought that this human is special to him. He kills thousands of his kind without thought, but when it comes down to it, Dean is different. Dean is special. If any other human had told Cas to rebel, he would've ignored them. But everything he does, every sacrifice he makes, he does it all for Dean. These two have helped to heal the brokenness built up inside of them over years of wear and replaced it with deep-rooted love for each other. But neither will ever admit it. Because they're fucking assholes.
And that's why I hate Destiel.
