This was supposed to just be a speedpaint with that “paint something from a photo” thing that’s going around recently, but I ended up going all out and I’m AMAZED with myself. I’m really, really, REALLY proud of this. The colors, the details in the folds of Althea’s dress~~ Just everything! It’s moments like these when I feel like I’ve improved as an artist.

I recorded the process from this too! I’m sorry I didn’t take any in-between pictures, but I’ll be sure to add a link to the finished speedpaint video when I’m done editing it! (The photo I used is my own! It’s of the flowers from my garden last summer, so I guess photo credit is yours truly haha)
