It does make sense, except I disagree about them having little in common. They both have shitty homes and neither of them have to explain it, the other one just gets it cuz they've been there. Lexa must have spiraled quite a bit after Costia was hurt. What happened?

I just meant little in common as far as hobbies and passions go.

Anywho. She got violent and reckless. She took her pain out on her opponents and even broke some guys arm (That’s the closest she’s gotten to revenge). She pushed everyone away and even picked a few fights on the streets.

It wasn’t until she showed up to training with a bruised ribs that Anya finally had enough and wouldn’t let Lexa push her away anymore. They talked and cried and it helped a little.

What did Costia think of Lexa? What kind of person was Lexa to Costia?

They met when they were quite young and neither of them had great home lives. They became each other’s distraction for life, comfort, and rock. They were always there for each other and always protected each other. It was the kind of relationship where even though they didn’t have too much in common the other’s company and support was enough.

So to Costia Lexa was her protector, her rock, her partner, and her home.

Costia thought lexa was a bit rough around the edges, but a good, kind, and caring woman.

What did Lexa do in retaliation for Costia getting hurt? What was Costia like? What were her hobbies? Did Lexa share any of them?

Lexa hasn’t done anything yet, but that doesn’t mean she won’t do anything.

Costia was a writer, reader, and adventurer. When they were kids she’d drag lexa on imaginary quests to fight dragons and find buried treasure. When they got older that turned into scaling walls and exploring different abandoned buildings. On rainy days or lazy days Costia would read to Lexa.

Lexa likes reading, but she never shared Costia’s passion for it. She preferred it when Costia would read to her. Now Lexa reads to Costia at the hospital.

Can I suggest Lexa being more of trickster? Lots of feinting and using her opponents body against themselves. Maybe even dirty moves when the opponent is a jerk. Also fighting isn't really co-ed but kudos to you for doing it that way. Was Costia a fighter?

Oh, I love that idea! Like I said I don’t know anything about fighting. I know it’s not co-ed, but hey it’s an au so why not? :P

I’m going to say no on Costia being a fighter. She was a childhood friend of Lexa’s and later girlfriend. Her, Anya, and Lexa were all great friends. Costia didn’t really approve of Lexa fighting, but never stopped her.

After Lexa started to make a name for herself, people started making bets on Lexa in fights. One say she got a letter telling her to throw the fight for cash, but she refused. The people who sent the letter went after Costia. She didn’t die, but she lives off life support at a certain hospital where a certain Griffin works.

How does Lincoln fit into fighter!Lexa au? What kind of fighting style does Lexa have? What happened to her parents and Anya?

Lincoln also fights. he’s in the heavy weight section and Lexa is in the light weight section. (I think that’s how it works? I’m making it co-ed even if that isn’t a thing).

I don’t know much about fighting, but she probably had a nimble style. Lots of dodging, bouncing around, and then she’ll strike hard and fast. Feel free to recommend something different.

Lexa’s parents weren’t very active in her life as a child, but (shocker) her uncle Gustus was around quite a bit. He basically raised her.

Anya is one of Lexa’s closest friends, as well as her trainer. They’ve known each other since they were kids. Anya also came up with Lexa’s fighting name “The Commander”. Very original I know.
