I’m thinking for the fighter PC a lesser noble. Maybe a Patrician who was just promoted from Knight by the Golden Crown. They fought in the border wars and did very well against a band of Eastern born and their legate.
They are soft spoken, rough around the edges, and sure of their word or opinion when they give it.

The fighters stats are (really good): 18, 16, 15, 12, 15, 12 I guess that fits a noble? Well read and trained and fed well?
