While this next wave of dlc fighters will probably be fully first-party, I really feel like the roster could use a Valve character. Valve’s games are iconic, and they really deserve a spot in Ultimate.
- A Portal character would fit well amongst the roster, and the side content that could come with them would be fenomenal! A stage that is an ever-changing test chamber, songs from the portal series, it would be just awesome. The fighter would likely be Chell, with Atlas and P-body as alternate costumes. And maybe the taunts could have lines from GLaDOS, Wheatly and Cave Johnson.
- A Team Fortress character would have an easier moveset to design, and deserves a spot there as much as a portal one. In fact, the announcement trailer could be stylized similarly to the “Meet The Team” videos. I think that, if we got a TF2 character, it would probably be either Heavy, Scout, Medic or Spy (which are the most recognizable, at least for an outsider like me.)
- I know next to nothing about half life, and while the series is like, huge in the world of videogames, i cant think it would stand out much in the roster and not feel like, Snake 2. But it’s still a viable character.
