So apparently a character gender should determine if the can be ugly or not so if a character has a vagina she shouldn't be ugly. But it’s perfectly fine for a male character to be ugly.

If a character is female or not should not determine if they should be designed to be pleasing to the eye or not.

If you want to make your female character drop-dead sexy fine

If you want to make her plain fine

If you want to make her ugly fine.

If you want to make her anything in between fine.

The same for male characters.

As long as it’s in content it’s fine.

I’m not saying this writer is a sexist prick, I'm just saying his logic is a bit flawed.

 No one going to see or care about this, but it feels good to get it off my chest.
