BACK TO SCHOOL!!!! T^T
Actually there's nothing to sad about... But then... You know, the feeling of upset when you found that you need to go to school the next day after your lazy holidays, whereas... Next day's a SATURDAY!!!! I'm curious... Why isn't the holiday till next Monday? What's the point of calling all the students back to school on weekend?
*
I bet a thousand dollars that half of my class will be empty by tomorrow. XD
*
Maybe going back to school on a weekday is a good thing too... It's rare that you get to rest after the first day of school reopen! HAHAHAHA!! I'm a lazy person, and I know it!
*
Moreover, my exams are coming too... If I'm schooling on weekend, it might help by alarming myself that exams are REAL close. Hopefully I'll get my books on the table and study it!! @@ (Most of the time I will!)
*
On the other hand, R is flying off tomorrow too. Today's the last day he's accompanying me (or rather I'm accompanying him). Time really flies... How I hope that the day he's leaving has never come... (Joking)
*
It will be a whole new start tomorrow! I'm looking forward with a positive mind as always!
:)
Undocumented dream act
So I went to protest in Washington DC this week. Fighting for undocumented rights. When I hear some of the kids speak I cried and cried. It's so horrible how people can take advantage of and mistreat these people simply bc they weren't born at the right place at the right time. These people to me are super heroes the struggles they have to face everyday bc their parents brought them over here in search of a better life. Come on I know if I had a family and my living situation was dangerous I would do anything to get them out, legal or illegal. How can we fault these people? And for what for selfish reasons that we think they will hurt the money in OUR pocket? How UNTRUE and SELFISH. Just to clarify some misconceptions about undocumented immigrants. It is not as simple to walk or swim over the boarder. You have to pay a large amount of money as much as $1500 per person to a "coyote" to cross you over. The trip is long an rough. Having to hide and run. Then some coyotes sell the people including children into AMERICAN sex rings. And they never get to see their families. And if caught the VICTIMS are thrown into immigration jail and sent home. Many families are split up for years because of the cost to cross and can't afford to come together. Still they do so because their homes are much more dangerous than the chance they run w the coyotes. When they are here the children that are born here are citizens but any siblings that weren't born here are undocumented. They can be sent to deportation at anytime. Even if they were here since they were babies. Even if they go to college here. Even if they marry an American citizen. Simply because their parents brought them here to save their lives. The dream act allows these people to stay and help contribute to the US. And I will fight for it until it is passed and enforced. It's time to stop picking groups to pick on. Nothing makes an American an American other than their ancestors were immigrants at the right time period.
I hate fighting with my boyfriend..:(
