I have been asked many times, “How is it being an Artist?”, “What’s it really like”, or to even lecture to aspiring students & performers at my Alma Mater and other Universities. I feel it would certainly be a privilege to share my experiences through my own musical journey. A wiseman who I have been blessed to encounter in life; a person I feel is extremely blessed with a good spirit and utterly talented, shared this... I paraphrase, “I don’t want to be remembered as the best, but as a hard worker.”. This truly hit home with me, because I have worked hard since I was 17yrs.; well even earlier if you count my grade school & middle school student years. No matter where I found myself; in corporate America or pursuing my own passions, I continue to work just as hard. I would share to aspiring individuals, in any endeavor, to learn your craft well, never settle for others telling you it will never happen, never give up, & stay faithful. Then as soon as you can blink: Industry Professionals will come to you; Label owners, Radio Personalities, Global Marketers or even may find yourself on the “Radar” of Legends.
