I started my new game+ UltraHard of HZD, and I am getting my ass handed to me lol. But it's fun. So far I am going through the story using mostly a bunch of traps and trip wires. Which is kind of how i did the first run. But I feel like I am relying on them more. I have only gotten one updated weapon. I'm thinking it might go a little easier (been dying just trying to get a Tall Neck orz) if I collect the Adept Armors, but also just having extra supplies.
oof, I definitely have not played on ultra-hard but that sounds super tedious! Hopefully you can get access to upgraded weapons soon. for myself, I abused the hell out of trip wires and silent strikes in both playthroughs (not that I finished the second one, heh - been thinking about hzd a LOT lately though so I might try and finish it)! if anything, I think the challenge rating will really come into play once you’re outside Meridian and have to deal with all the Big Boi machines - those fucked over my play style (abuse stealth as much as possible, taking sniper shots at everything that moves, and screaming when anything comes too close to me when in red alert) BIG TIME.

oh, my friend, how I would kill for the Wolf Among Us 2. but alas, I don’t have hope for it either after TellTale fell through.
I don’t think they’re pushing TOO much? I could be wrong, though. Naughty Dog seems (read: SEEMS) to have a reputation the past several years of not really pushing their staff, such as with how long it took for the release of Uncharted 4 or to even get a hint of the Last of Us Part II. But then, that delay could have been just a result of Amy Hennig moving away from Uncharted prior to Uncharted 4’s major construction and the potential of not knowing what a story would or would not be for the Last of Us Part II.
STILL. Earlier this year, Naughty Dog said they were considering a fall 2019 release depending on how much beta testers and other staffers they could get in that regard. So they either didn’t get exactly what they wanted or they decided to push the date back and allow time for their staff to not crunch. I haven’t seen any news on Naughty Dog going into major staff crunching in general, but... we’ll see! So far, I’m doubting even a February 2020 releas date like that “leak” said. I’d much rather them delay the game for another year or more than push their staff through crunch!
