That was, of course, Lyon’s precise fear. True, he was well aware of Ephraim’s incredible climbing prowess -- in fact, he was certain that Ephraim could scale any surface as effortlessly as a monkey could -- but that didn’t account for the fragility of the tree branches. All it would take was for a single branch to snap, and his friend would be sent pommeling to a very devastating injury. Lyon wrenched his eyes shut in fear. He couldn’t watch that happen.

➏ What’s the one thing you especially love about roleplaying your muse?
There’s a lot to love about Eirika! But I’m very happy that I decided to base my portrayal off of her Anamnesis Lady alt in Heroes. It’s not as huge a canon divergence as some others have done with their muses, but I like to think it still makes her kind of unique.
Being queen of Grado opens up opportunities for threads and interactions that she wouldn’t have had, or would have been very different, otherwise. For example, had she stayed as princess of Renais, she would always have been second fiddle to Ephraim - unintentionally so, of course, but still- a kingdom can only be governed by one monarch, not two. As queen of Grado, she is on equal footing with him and the other rulers of Magvel.
Gleipnir being dark magic also gives me opportunities to do fun stuff. Dark magic in the GBA games can get seriously messed up depending on how far down the rabbit hole you’re willing to go, and Gleipnir is one of the most powerful Dark tomes in the game. Obviously Eirika is no amateur when it comes to magic, but she’s already been affected by it in some small way. I haven’t had much of a chance to work with that yet, but it’s interesting to flesh out!
Overall, making her a little canon divergent in choice of weapon has made a big difference in how she’s written, and I love it!

Her hand is pressed to her side as she limps towards him. “I can make it.” No she can’t. But she doesn’t want to be left behind, either–not again.

She needs to know the best time to prank those around her. Link doesn’t care about time. He is the hero of time(Cue something getting thrown at Ron,” Echo doesn’t worry about it. Shae, and Bravok are the same. Zelia only when she needs to. Onyx if you tell her it will help with being a hero. We forgot to ask Isil about this, but we believe it his answer is the same as his dad. Jolt isn’t sure. He wants to see if he is faster then time. Kirito does, but mostly because he is following the tents in Ron’s journals. Guest muses for the fun of it. Kenway and Delta yes because of star charts. They are pirates and captains. Quick-step is no, because time is Bane’s responsibility. Jolt Zacks doesn’t worry about it. Helps he is a immortal vampire dragon elf soldier. Percival doesn’t mostly because he can use time magic, but he does keep a eye when its a full moon. Even thought despite being a werewolf he doesn’t transform on one unless he wants to. Chaos we think so. He just said if its Dairy Queen time, or attack Ron Time. So maybe.
