Friend, I am so ready for your husband surprise fic. I'm so excited. But as for other tropes, I love anyting that plays up how non-human geralt is, and how into that jaskier is... Anything where geralt doesn't know how to communicate effectively, or he communicates differently, or he struggles to even identify or be honest about how he feels, and Jaskier figures that out and is able to reach him and either meet him on his level or help him improve/depending on what it is.
Yes, unable to communicate Geralt is like, so good. He’s such a little puppy but struggles to use his words, or yes, even struggles to really know what he’s feeling. I like when he’s just been away from everyone so much that he doesn’t know how to Be a Person, and Jaskier is there to be that comfort for him, to show him what love is, and that Geralt already does love......... cause he loves Jask. Ok this definitely reminds me a recent fic of my friend @fightyourdragon, Love is in the Small Things. Definitely recommend!
