This tart combines the earthy flavors of wild mushrooms with the creamy richness of Taleggio cheese and the sweetness of fresh figs, all nestled on a flaky puff pastry crust.
Ingredients: 1 sheet of puff pastry. 8 ounces wild mushrooms, cleaned and sliced. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 5 ounces Taleggio cheese, sliced. 4 fresh figs, sliced. Fresh thyme leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. Place the puff pastry sheet on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Roll it out. Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat. It will take about 5 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced mushrooms. Add pepper and salt. Put the sliced Taleggio cheese on top of the puff pastry in a way that looks good. Put the mushrooms and sliced figs on top of the cheese. Put it in an oven that has already been heated up and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese melts. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
