i forgot to answer the munday symbols thing yesterday
✾ - Why I chose my character
i really really adore the things madge undersee adds to the story, though, in subtle ways. she presents this pin that symbolizes sooo much. first the fall of a dead tribute and that in itself makes it extremely risky for madge to give katniss her pin. she knows where it comes from, she knows her aunt died in the hunger games. this shows a lot of bravery and the risks madge is willing to take. especially maysilee died in the games that haymitch. secondly the pin also symbolizes the first rebellion. we all know about mockingjay's and that so i won't stress that here, though i made need to make a rant post once this is posted haha. madge to me seems so vital to the plot just in a ways that are small. and i think there's something so elegant and intriguing about that. it made me want to explore more and i've been exploring her character for over three years now and there's still things i've yet to discover. i guess i think she's interesting and i connect with her in small ways. i also prefer playing minor characters as well, there's more room for headcanons.i hope this makes sense?? though i don't think it does. oops. sorry.
