Never have i felt more maternal than when I was listening to natsume, the poor baby :[

also what the fuck is up and adam's deal? I initially thought of him as constantly seeking love, going off of food being a metaphor for love and him being a glutton, but now im not sure. talking about feeling out of sync and being used and abused by the world itself feels weird for him, but i could also just be forgotting smth that happened earlier this season. if anyone has any theories or perspectives I would love to hear them :]

I just listened to the latest episode and OH MY GOODNESS this one was just. ouuuuhhhh. it was so great.

A Natsume episode?? Already know it's gonna be good

MCR reference right at the beginning? This is a strong start to an episode (I myself don't listen to MCR but my best friend does and really likes it so it's my fandom-in-law)

And then NATSUME IS CANONICALLY TRANS?!?!?!? THAT'S AWESOME and ouuuhhhh his monologue in this episode was soooo good. Really resonated with me. Natsume was one of my favorite characters before he even ever got a speaking role but after this episode that status has now been permanently solidified

AND THE VOICE ACTING. OH MY GOODNESS. BOTH VAS ABSOLUTELY KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK THIS EPISODE

Oh yeah and is Adam allergic to goo as well??? Is a goo allergy more common in this world than I thought??? Or is it something to do with his connection to Sydney???

ALSO ADAM'S RINGTONE IS BABY HOTLINE BY JACK STAUBER? This is very concerning and probably significant as well but I think it's great and awesome that it was a song that I recognized from an artist I like. Adam has fantastic music taste, if concerning in implications

All that is to say. I got really excited several times in this episode ESPECIALLY with Natsume's transgender reveal. I love it when a popular headcanon like that turns out to be canon and oh it fits him so well, that whole thing was just. So great. That monologue was heart-wrenching. Also today is a good day for alterhuman Natsume enjoyers (aka me) like that whole part about how if he's gonna be a freak he's gonna be as much of a freak as possible is just.
