you know the one — HEIC photos from your iPhone that refuse to open on half your devices, or a site that only takes WebP and you have a PNG. found a browser tool that converts between basically every image format and it's saved me more than once.

it's such a small thing but it blocks you constantly:

they should increase the color limit of the .gif format and i know they can do that, they already did updates to the .gif format before, with how they can be animated

the 256 colors restriction in archaic by now, i cant do 90% of my shit into gifs because of that stupid now overly limiting restriction
