Excuse me, can you help me understand the JJ Project Dark Mafia numbers thing? Both 7775 and 7715(Yugyeom)? Seems like Jinyoung never meet Yugyeom... also is there any way you can fill in some details like how was Jinyoung trained? PD: Is Jr. dead?

Numbers

You basically hit the nail on the head, anon! I came up with Yugyeom’s number because I was unoriginal (7=got7, 15= the year), but 7775 was due to the fact sometimes 7 and 1 are written similarly

Basically, the Boss/Family had purchased 7775 and leaked the information to Yugyeom as if suggesting that it was Jaebum who had taken them under his wing – thus, yes Jinyoung and Yugyeom never met and Jinyoung was led to believe otherwise, thinking he had left a message for Jaebum…

Jinyoung’s training

Honestly, I left this out because I found it irrelevant to the plot itself. I won’t go into too many details because this is one of the things that can be freely interpreted, but you can assume he was conditioned to “gain Jaebum’s trust at all costs”

Jinyoung: dead or alive?

I’m sorry but this is another thing that’s purposefully left ambiguous … to be honest, there are a /lot/ of possibilities. On the one hand you can argue that Yugyeom as a “new” assassin would be no match for Jinyoung who is probably not stupid enough to fall slack in fighting skill, but on the other hand the mafia network is vast and insidious and so he might be hounded forever until he /does/ die… of course, there’s also a chance he escapes and does successfully make contact with Jaebum, so ! I like to say it’s all up to you - what do you /want/ to have happened ? if you can answer that question, you have your ending :)

Not many are aware, but the YugBam Prostitute!AU was written after scrapping all but one scene of what I had already written.

Here’s some excerpts from an alternate version of the fic. They’re unedited, so please take with a grain of salt.

Yugyeom breathes in the city’s toxicity and exhales fatigue. Evening has settled, his stomach is empty and the shine of his polished shoes gleam in the streetlights as he walks, awkward and uncoordinated in his fresh outfit following his first week on the job.

There’s something in the other’s posture that has Yugyeom uncomfortably reminded of a rag doll, broken goods dolled up to hide the carnage that lays beneath the shallow beauty. Despite the mischievous, foxy demeanour the other seems to wear as comfortably as a second skin, Yugyeom can sense a certain brittleness about the façade, like a hastily glued together vase on the brink of shattering once more.

“Oh hell, what happened to you?”

Not the most eloquent of greetings, but then again Yugyeom has never been particularly skilled when it came to on-the-spot witticisms with strangers he had never seen before. Or, wait – now that he’s drawn closer, he thinks he recognises that young countenance, poised posture and impish demeanour.

“Got sucker punched by a customer.” The prostitute says, cigarette twisting and turning in his fingers as if fighting the urge to poke and prod at the purple bruise on his temple. “It sucks – work will be hard the next few days.” As if realising for the first time that he’s speaking to someone, the prostitute blinks, awareness dawning in his eyes as he gives Yugyeom an onceover.

“Ah, you’re that guy who gave me the money! Thanks for that by the way – did you want me to pay you back?”

The double meaning is not lost on Yugyeom as he grows uncomfortably aware of the way the other’s eyes linger a bit too long on his body before meeting his eyes with a flirtatious smirk.

Yugyeom shoves away thoughts of the uncomfortable traitorous stirring in his body, instead choosing to sigh and eye the bruise marking the other’s skin before making a decision. “Here, come with me.” He offers a hand.

The prostitute’s eyes flicker towards him, guarded. It’s clear that Yugyeom is not propositioning him. “Why?”

Yugyeom frowns. “It’s clear that you need medical attention, so I’ll take a look at it for you if you want. My first aid kit is in my apartment, though.”

Shrugging, he grabs Yugyeom’s hand and allows himself to be hauled up with Yugyeom’s assitance. A dark part of Yugyeom’s mind remarks that it’s not safe for anyone to follow anyone home so easily, but there’s a desperation in the way the other follows him and presses himself against his side in a plea for payment, for money for his services, that makes it clear that he needs something.

Yugyeom takes the prostitute home, cleans up his wounds and lays him to rest in his best whilst Yugyeom himself takes the couch. He wakes up in the morning with his cereal gone and a few bills taken from his wallet, along with a hastily scribbled note.

Alternative ending to Red riding hood 2jae AU

Originally, Youngjae wasn't going to be evil

Jaebum was going to be the 'wolf' and Jinyoung had the role of the 'huntsman'. After the confrontation, Youngjae was going to run back after having an epiphany of how much he loved Jaebum, only to find Jinyoung and Jaebum's corpse.

I wrote the ending, but it was really.... dissastisfying

Hence. the current ending came to life.

An interesting thing to note about the fic is that the roles can be perceived in two ways, depending on what stage you're at

Jinyoung - huntsman

Youngjae - wolf

Jaebum - red riding hood

executioner - huntsman

However Jackson will forever be the poor granny. Or should I say, all the victims are grannies .......
