ooc. happy new years yall. thinking about how hypnos' legal birthday is january 1st because he's so old that no one knows/remembers his actual birth date including himself

ooc. kaiki is so funny to me. it's not as apparent in the anime but in the novel he does one thing and then scrambles to mentally justify said action for a full paragraph if not more. and he does this with almost everything he does & say.
ooc. hii im still alive. i meant to resume activities on this blog as soon as my winter break started like a week ago but then i received a news that got me in such a bad mood that my brain stopped working lol. but i do want to get back into writing so here i am.
anyway i'm thinking of reworking/condensing my muse list, and maybeeee moving tatsuma here bc he was originally meant to be part of this blog.
also!!! i've been reading a bunch of light novels including the koimonogatari/hitagi end arc novel, so i might add kaiki into the roster.
not me writing about kusakabe feeling like he didn't leave a strong enough impression to his classmates for them to still be thinking about him post graduation while also hc'ing that he actually had a few people crushing on him during middle school that he just never noticed.
ooc. i gettt that most intl fans back then likely had no access to it, or there are ppl who just don't care, but fanon youji being queerphobic makes me so sad if not actively angry (bc some of the depiction in older fics especially is. hm. real bad) because youji canonically flirted with and kissed a trans woman in one of the audio dramas.
ooc. just had a thought. i've been talking to some of you about how fascinated i am with the way that kusakabe interact with the students (in particular the tokyo 2nd years & miwa for obvious reasons) in an almost sibling-like manner with how they can just argue and it seems to be a conversation on very equal grounds considering their roles & age differences and like. kusakabe had to help raise his sibling from a young age and was still pretty young when he became her sole guardian. to him being a sibling & being a parental figure are 2 things that are very closely intertwined.
