Madelyne was sitting at home after a long day of work, the sun setting outside as she relaxed with a yawn. She was jotting down ideas for work projects and things she had to get done the next day, on a notepad that rested on her swollen stomach. She scribbled words, not thinking much of it when there was a sudden knock at the door. She tugged her throw blanket around herself and stood, setting the pad on the coffee table as she crossed the creaking floorboards to answer the door. Knob turned and she nodded calmly. "Roy! Good to see you, what brings you over?" She paused and shuffled to the side. "Come in." With Scott at work she could use the company.
