Felicia was tired and sore. Normally her job didn’t require her to exert herself all that much, apart from the occasional crawl into an air vent to hide when she was in an area that she technically wasn’t allowed to be in. This day had been different though; to put it simply, she had been careless. She hadn’t taken the necessary steps to deactivate any potential security protocols, and when she had opened the company safe to search for their dirty little secrets, an alarm had sounded, causing for every person in the building to be aware that she now had her hands on information that would result in every one of them being sent for rehabilitation. The struggle that had ensued had been particularly unpleasant, and though Felicia had managed to hold her own against the desperate employees quite well, it hadn’t been without injury; and had the arrival of the authorities been delayed any further, she more than likely would have been overwhelmed. Now, with the information having been submitted to her superiors and the company disbanded, she sat on a bench, an ice pack pressed to a bump on her head that she had gotten in the struggle. Noticing someone standing near her in peripheral, she spoke up, although she didn’t raise her eyes to see who it was. “I’m really not interested in hearing whatever it is that you want, unless what you want is to give me a back rub” She said with an exasperated sigh.
