Seahorses and small wooden toys

Did you know that there are 47 different species of seahorses and 14 of those were discovered in the last eight years? They have an ability to change color (like a chameleon) and shape to blend in with their environment. They are poor swimmers, and remain faithful to one partner. Seahorse couples greet each other every morning with a dance before separating for the day. Instead of females, male seahorses carry the developing seahorse embryos in a kangaroo-like pouch.
