I remember reading mdzs for the first time, and I was liveblogging it to some friends who had already read it. I got to the scene where we meet Jin Ling

And everyone was like "!!! Jin Ling! Oh, you're going to love him, Wolffy, I know it."

i still think that our Pearl wasn’t the one that “belonged” to Pink-- I still think she was White’s

Blue and Yellow Pearl both have their gems in the same place as their corresponding Diamonds do where Pearl’s gem matches White Diamond’s placement, not Pink’s; AND they both share much closer color schemes, including skin color, to their Diamonds than Pearl does with Pink-- Pearl’s design here contains hardly any pink aside from her hair

given the show’s attention to detail about these things that’s way too conspicuous a digression from the established pattern not to be significant somehow

plus her skin is stark white and when combined her hair+outfit contain a pretty even balance of blue, pink, and yellow shades, much like how white light can be put through a prism to show multiple colors

that still leaves the mystery of what happened to Pink Diamond’s Pearl ( I would say “if she even actually had one”, considering how she was treated as the most junior Diamond, but Zircon mentions she DID have one and the others don’t correct her on this detail ) and how she and Pearl came to be so close if Pearl was originally meant for White Diamond; but those could be intriguing threads to follow

BEEN a gender issue in skullbania, like if ya kid says they're a boy well clearly he's a boy, same story for girls and nb peeps. there's an old legend tho, that one time someone's dad told his daughter 'no ur a boy' it is said that before he even finished his sentence stoneback landed on the ground, creating a crater, and slapped the mans mouth clean off, then personally escorted the girl to the foot of E mountain (the climb must be made alone)

This one is also really good! It’s called occasional, cynical. 

There’s also this kickass one with The Creatures called Sick and Twisted Affair. It has James in it as a main character, with Seamus telling the story. It’s also really good if you’re into that sorta thing. Not necessarily Fake Chop, but it’s pretty close to it with being a gang au and all! 

It’s okay btw this AU really is in it’s beginning stages. There isn’t really too much written content for it yet. There’s a lot of fanart and photo edits for it, but not much fanfiction right now.
