Hi Fima, I've been in your anon asks at least once before, but I felt like coming here today because that drawing of KaliJami's sleepover actually made me cry. (/pos) I didn't exactly get why, but now I actually do; it's because you draw them as friends. I think your art of them to be so emotional and so heavy even in the smallest little bits that you do, it always made me melt and made me think for days after, and I kept thinking "why?" every time. At first i thought it was just because you're one of my favourite artists in the fandom, and undoubtedly my favourite when it comes to how you draw every character and their features. But I always felt like there was *something else* there, and now I get why!

You draw these two as (budding) friends, before you draw them romantically. You draw them as people and gives them emotions that don't intersect with one another without leaving the soul of each character intact. Your portrayal of KaliJami makes me melt because it's so honest and pure. It's them in the most teen-like scenarios, having fun be it dancing or at their sleepover or their more canon-centric scenarios like being looked over. You make them so silly too! Like that drawing of Kalim "introducing" Jamil to your oc that fw him heavy. Seriously I just. gahhh, I love your art so much. I look at your drawings every single time I want to draw a character because the way you get their features is just too beautiful.

I am really happy to hear my art brings you to emotions! Every day I wonder why so many people actually feel things towards my art and tell me about it because mostly I don't feel anything towards my own drawings. (adding some sketches I made last night, a lil romantic but still)

When it comes to any character, I really want to explore every possible side of them. Jamil and Kalim are insanely interesting, and it's worth exploring them independently of each other, but surely they are way too intertwined to fully exclude one from another's character.

I can go on about them for hours actually, too many possibilities and too much potential in their every decision and word!

And thank you for remembering Fima as well !! Their relationship is funny and I actually wanna draw more because her, Ruggie, Jamil and Kalim would be an insanely funny team.

(I go by Mel now!!! because Fima is my pretty little oc hehe)

Although I aced most of my finals, there are few exams scheduled for the end of the June, so I'll try to relax until then! Can't wait to draw again 🙏
