One year Kissiversary
October 7, 2023 was the night I saw Kiss at their last Australian concert.
I made myself up as a pink haired Starchild because Paul was the one who dazzled me all those years ago when I first laid eyes on the band via the video of I Was Made For Loving You.
And because I didn’t know my soul was about to be taken over by a cheeky little shit behind the drums dressed as a cat.
Usually when I get locked into an obsession, I can pin point the exact moment a light breeze turned into a tornado.
This was the moment.
In case you can’t make it out, the last thing he does in that is he SPAT HIS CHEWING GUM AT US WITH CONTEMPT. And I said
“More of that please.”
And here I am today.
So I’ll be watching this, the video I took of the entire concert, and even though it’s not up close, doesn’t mean it isn’t personal, so you can maybe watch it too if you want.
Kiss: Final Curtain live in Sydney
"‘Would you, in your turn, Chief Inspector, mind telling me if you have any reason for this interview beyond these utterly preposterous anonymous letters?’
‘Some of the family suspect arsenical poisoning.’
'Oh, my God and the little starfish!’ Dr Withers shouted and shook his fists above his head. ‘That bloody family!'

Paranormal Star Review
Title: The Paranormal Investigation Bureau #1 Final Curtain
Author: J.B. Trepagnier
Pages:254
Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐(4/5)
Synopsis:
I thought my ballet days were over. I just graduated from the academy to work as a federal agent with the Paranormal Investigation Bureau. I get called into the office for something that could change my life permanently. Meaning, I could die. That ballet company I never got to audition for is doing The Sugar Skull Girl. This ballet has never been seen on stage before. I don’t have the full story, but rumors are that any time someone tries to attempt this ballet, things soon turn fatal.
I’ve been told to strap my pointe shoes on and use my witch abilities to go undercover at the ballet company. I had my reservations about taking this job, even if it had once been a dream of mine to dance for The P. The artistic director is a horny Unseelie rake who makes casting decisions with his cock. The prima ballerina here needs to retire, but she’s totally toxic about making sure no one upstages her. She has a club of mean girl ballet dancers willing to ruin careers just for the spotlight…or maybe just for fun.
First And Last Sentence: Here
RIP Diana Rigg
"My Beloved Ma died peacefully in her sleep, early this morning at home, surrounded by family. She died of cancer diagnosed in March and spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter and a deep pride in her profession. I will miss her beyond words"
Most of Tumblr will know her best as Olenna Tyrell, the razor-tongued Queen of Thorns from “Game of Thrones”...
I remember her just as well as Tracy di Vincenzo in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”, one of the two best Bond Girls - along with Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore - because they were played by actresses, not cheesecake models.
And I remember her even better from “The Avengers” - a series so famous that the MCU movie had to be renamed over here (”Marvel Avengers Assemble”) to avoid confusion.
As If you’d mistake mere costumed superheroes for Mrs Emma Peel...
I know Black Widow does her best, but...
...she’s not there yet.
Mrs Peel was playing “The Queen of Sin” to infiltrate the naughty Hellfire Club, and Diana Rigg designed her own costume. This episode wasn’t shown in 1966 America. I can’t imagine why not, because it was certainly a wake-up call for ten-year-old me...
She was a famed Shakespearean actress as well: here she is with Anthony Hopkins in “Macbeth” (The Queen of Thorns and Hannibal Lector - yes, quite.)
...and here with a quite astonishing cast - widdershins from centre rear it’s Sir John Gielgud, Robert Vaughan, Richard Johnson, Richard Chamberlain, Charlton Heston, Jason Robards and Jill Bennett - as Portia in “Julius Caesar”.
RIP, Dame Diana Rigg, and thank you.
And now, the end is near. And so I face the final curtain. My friend, I'll say it clear. I'll state my case, of which I'm certain. I've lived a life that's full. I traveled each and every highway and more, much more than this. I did it my way.
My Way, Frank Sinatra
