Behold: Starbase 80 in all of its glory

Meet Ensign Tyrie Tandem. Tandem was found alone in a small shuttle in 2360. A research vessel, the USS Michigan, found this strange liquid life form; upon discovering that the life form was sentient, a medical officer and an engineer took her in as their child. Tandem grew up on the research vessel, learning to take human form, treated as one and the same as the other humans on board. In 2377, she traveled to earth and enrolled at Starfleet Academy, graduating in 2380. Upon graduating, Tandem was given her first assignment: Starbase 80. She served on the station for a few months, but an accident she was in made continuing her work there difficult. The captain then agreed to transfer her to the USS Cerritos, where she remains.
