Discussion #8: May 27, 2012

And we're already at the final discussion for Tale of the Body Thief.

This covers chapters 25 - 33, from where Lestat leaves Gretchen to go meet David in Miami to the end of the book.

As this is the final discussion, remember to be sure to give your impression of the entire book, the author, and if you'd be interested in reading more by them. If you had a favorite character, or something you didn't really like about the book, feel free to mention that as well.

I'll post the choices for June's book of the month tomorrow, and we'll have that and a schedule picked by May 29th.

Discussion #4: April 2012

We've finally reached our final discussion for April. This will be a bit different from the previous discussions. Since we're done with the book, this discussion will be a summary of what you thought of the book overall, the author, etc.

To help get the discussion started, here are some points I'd like you to address in your summary:

*Give a brief summary of the book. What were the main characters like? What was the setting? Whose point of view was the story from? What was the antagonist/villain like?

*Did you have a favorite character, or a least favorite character? Who was it, and why did you like/dislike them?

*What did you think of the book? Did you enjoy reading it?

*What did you think of the author? Would you want to read anything else by them?
