The Mitsuoka Orochi is a Japanese sports car designed and built by Mitsuoka Motors as a concept car in 2001, with updates and design reviews appearing in 2003 and 2005 , before finally being put into production and offered for sale at the end 2006 as a 2007 model. The car takes its name from the mythical dragon Yamata no Orochi 8 head Japanese . Mitsuoka says ” Orochi is the car to travel to pick up the attention of the whole world,” and defines it as a car “Fashion -Super Car” .
The Mitsuoka Orochi has been appointed without contemplations ugliest car in the world, but the company has announced plans to end production in September .Interior changes are limited, but include two -tone leather and Alcantara seats , metallic trim and Alcantara -wrapped steering wheel .
To mark the occasion , the company will offer five final issues that have a gold or pearl outer ” Fuyoru -o ” and a front spoiler, rear spoiler and exclusive alloy wheels of 19 inches.
Like the standard model , the final edition is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine that develops original Toyota 233 hp ( 172 kW ) and 328 Nm ( 242 lb -ft) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
