OCR03092: Sonic CD: Temporal Duality - Brandon Strader
[Final Fever (JP)]
From the album... Temporal Duality
Title: Dr. Robotnik's Theme (Final Fever Remix)
Artist: Sega
Description: Here's a song that I've known about for months, but took forever to be posted on the blog! It shouldn't have taken so long! Here's a remix of "Final Fever", the final boss theme of Sonic CD's JP soundtrack straight from Christmas NiGHTS. The beginning half is similar to its Sega CD counterpart, but this version features a tempo shift and a creepiness that could be likened to the US Game Over music! Enjoy guys!
I have a choice for you! I couldn't choose between the credits theme for the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast or Final Fever, the last boss theme from the JP/EU version of Sonic CD, so pick which song you prefer! =D

What's going on, everyone? I picked this one since it was already in my library, but feel free to request the other sometime! They're both great!
This track definitely has a final boss feel to it, but it also has that funky craziness to it that's prevalent throughout the entire CD soundtrack. The operatic vocals going on make it somewhat dramatic and silly at the same time, but it's definitely a cool effect. We've got a snare drum riff at the top that would fit in a "traditional" setting, but it's done on a synth drum kit, giving it a different flare. Lots of different sounds and themes going on in this track, from trumpets to guitar lines, to all sorts of different grooves. There's a lot of auxiliary percussion going on as well, and the organ sounds also give it that impending doom mood. It fits perfectly for this type of game and stage!
So there was a remix of Final Fever from Sonic CD in Winter Nights into Dreams.
TRULY, this is the theme of "Haters gonna hate!"
