Final Idea
Following the research i have done into type and sensory processing disorder separately, i have decided on how i want this project to progress:
i will design a typeface which represents how different clothing fabrics feel. this will be used as a tool for clothing shops, where these typefaces can be applied to the clothing labels, shop signs and also design touch points/books with the typefaces.
the touch points will be accompanied by the fabric samples, so the shopper can touch it when they want to know what the fabric might feel like, without touching loads of clothes. this might be in a form of a book, or a physical area of the shop where people can go.
This will help the target audience have a less stressful or overstimulating shopping experience. to design something that is suitable for the age range, i will look at shops these people are using and explore the typography being used there.

To begin the animation process, I illustrated the scenes from the story board using adobe illustrator. I kept the colour scheme bright and playful with basic shapes to create a sense of the object I am illustrating but keeping them quite bare so there is attention drawn to the facial features which i intend to animate. The idea is that I will use adobe after effects so that it moves from scene to scene as if you are moving your head. This will try to capture how wild and exciting children see the world.
