i'd go for a 3DS tbh, psvita doesn't have a HUGE selection of games, esp since several of the best games for it have been remade for ps4 :( tho iirc the ps vita does have a way better visual performance and longer battery life than the 3DS, but i'd say 3DS for the larger game catalogue

3DS for sure. the vita isn't the greatest handheld. the controls suck in my opinion, screen share between the vita and ps4 doesn't work super great, and like the huntressmaria said, not a lot of games to choose from.

I have both, and although I really like my vita I'd say if you already have a PS3/PS4 go for a 3DS, like other ppl have said there aren't very many vita exclusive games!

Thanks guys! <3 I guess I’m still a bit on the fence because there aren’t a whole lot of Nintendo games that I’m into. When I previously had a 3DS the only game I really played was Animal Crossing which is why I wound up selling it. So, the game catalog might be an issue for me with both systems. However, I’m trying to find entertainment for my upcoming 6 hour plane rides and I’d rather have a game system than a tablet.
