I think the Boy in White is Jade and Tabitha’s son. Think about it. Miranda had Victor and Eloise, Tabitha has Julie and Ethan. What if when they tried to save the children, they saved their son but not their daughter and as a result, all three were killed anyway when the rest of the townspeople became monsters and that is what started the regeneration cycle?

One thing I did like about the final season of The Boys is that they showed how much everyone around Homelander is betraying themselves and their own believes and how it went badly for all of them.

Firecracker and Oh Father were betraying their own faith and for what? A false Prophet that got them both killed.

We don't even have to talk about the Deep. He was nothing outside of the Seven and with every season he became more pathetic and gave up more of himself and even turned his back on the one thing he did have, the sealife. Him literally eating Sushi in the final season was the best metaphor they could have used honestly.

Of course there's Ashley, who we have seen starting to doubt the system for a while now and she does finally do something in the finale, but it's far too little too late. She might be "rewarded" by getting away with her life, but now she is probably in prison for life so...

Even Sage (who deserved much better writers let's be honest), the smartest person in the world, gambled and lost. She thought she could use Homelander and profit off of him, but even she couldn't control him and had to go into hiding with the Boys. The only reason why she survived is because she switched sides early enough to get out.

Anyway, the point is, there is no way to win when it comes to facists. You might think as long as you're loyal enough nothings gonna happen to you, but sooner or later you name's up and that is one thing they actually executed really well in the finale I thought.

no matter how bad the screenwriting, shortening the length of the show, and missed opportunites from the novel, my love for these characters and their chemistry outways all. This drama was perfectly imperfect. I will continue to rewatch regardless and overall happy we got something at all.

the yellowjackets season 3 finale aired and suddenly every user on yjtwt is a professional cinematographer?

okay??? pack it up, tarantino. maybe the whole point of the full circle return to the pit girl hunt was that it was never an ornate, ceremonial hunt. it was to emphasize their capacity for cruelty when it guarantees their own survival. it was just them!!!!

It's interesting that in Atomic Monsters all the finale bits that were cut are represented within Becky's House with her Funko pops and props that she built herself (TFW)

and the ONLY representation of the finale we got in her house is shown on the desk with Chuck while he writes the finale (boys standing by a tree)

You have to wonder if their original intention was a finale full of things Becky wanted but instead due to lots of cuts and weird choices we ended up with only what Chuck wanted all along

you know how I know there's more to the daniel turning than spite or rage kill? we watched an episode that spent the first third showing louis' revenge machinations and how he did not let that shit go. yes, disobeying his order isn't as massive of a betrayal as the trial, but you really think louis would let a violation of his order go like that without 'time healing'? 'harm him and you're dead' 'touch him and I kill you' and he's already pissed at armand for the rest of the story? the fact that armand's still walking means there's more to it. maybe daniel wanted it, maybe there was a deeper connection, maybe it was a choice between the illness taking him and turning him, maybe something happened in the past to give it all context, but it definitely wasn't immediate (armand would have been slammed so hard into a second wall if louis got a telepathic sliver of the idea of it) and it had to have been something that wasn't necessarily harm, because otherwise rip armand, louis the vampire revenge slayer would've got you
