Another final line from "Wolfwalkers"!This one was the very first background to be approved! The location is a bit special as it's a transition between town and forest (farmland). It's something that is shown graphicly by mixing the style of the forest (sketchy lines) but more angular as humans took this area over with the style of the town (geometrical) for the fences, carts,... Wolfwalkers is back to the cinemas in Ireland ! If you haven't watched it yet it's really worth it to see it on a big screen ! 🎞️ Here are more forest style final lines ! There are sequences of the film that are graphically very expressive. The second background is part of a wolves' attack. Some "town style" of Wolfwalkers now! 🏰 The style of the town is geometrical, rectilinear, angular and strictly organized. The patterns used suggest cages and chains to express the fact that the characters are trapped there. I'm sharing the process we used to achieve the linocut effect on the last images. As you can imagine it would'nt be sustainable for a production to carve blocks for each backgrounds! Enjoy !
