A shrug lifted Mako's shoulders as he took a bowl of his own, one full of rice with a few pieces of duck scrambled over top, "nothing. It's just.." there was a pause as his lips pulled up in a soft smile, "my way of saying I love you."
Placing his own bowl aside, he reached over and took Korra's bowl, doing the same. Lastly, he moved the basket out of the way and scooted so he was right in front of Korra, their knees touching. "My way of letting you know.." his hand gripped Korra's, squeezing gently, "just how much you mean to me," without another word, he leaned in, closing the distance between them with a passionate kiss.
