He hadn’t realized he had zoned out and been staring at someone until he had managed to snap himself out of it. Unfortunately for him - having zoned out that long meant he had been staring directly at someone for an uncomfortably long amount of time, and whether or not they noticed it, Mike’s cheeks flush to a light red as he turns his attention away.
He prays that the sound of music and the performances around them will be enough to not linger on the subject too long, but Mike clears his throat and fumbles with his hands, staring down at the floor below them.
“S--Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare.”
