John Lennon said he would send them a white feather. NEW EPISODE: Episode 28: It should’ve been a great day. It started off with a great photo session with Annie Leibovitz and eventually led to a productive night in the recording studio. But the night would take a tragic turn as they headed home for the evening. Many believe the image of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, as they appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, was the very last image ever taken of the singer. But there were a few other photos taken that night. They were snapped by a fan. And one of those photos contained the face of Lennon’s killer.
