All of the sudden, while he's standing at his bathroom sink, Finn realizes what his life dream is. He must be Prom King.

He knows that he lost his chance last year. He foolishly wasted the opportunity when it was presented to him. This year though, his senior year, he knows he can win it. That's how karma works right? Nothing good has happened to him all year. He didn't get a football scholarship, Santana was mean about his weight, Blaine threatened his masculinity, his girlfriend (fiance? girlfriend?) kept texting Quinn when they were supposed to get married, and then Quinn had to get hit by a truck and ruin the whole thing. So yeah, tons of bad stuff had happened, something good had to happen next.

He would win Prom King and Rachel could be Prom Queen. Even though she had never shown the slightest interest in being crowned Queen of the school, and even though everyone at school still thought she was a total loser, he just knew she would jump at the chance to be his Queen.

Finn nods to himself and picks up his razor.
