brittana is barely above finchel bc the song that precedes it is my fave brittana duet. and santana's speech isnt as awful. although it does start out with "it's gonna upset all the single people here" like girl get a grip. also throwback to a msmojo "top 10 unforgettable santana lopez moments" list that includes her rant to kurt in 6x03 but not the proposal to brittany lmao. guess she forgor </3 love loses
wemma takes second place. it's a musical show and this is a big over the top musical proposal! it's such a fun number. the pool is a very unique setting. will sucked the whole episode leading up to this but if you ignore all that, it's a very sweet scene. plus he got pezberry on the track like the man clearly knew what he was doing lmao
obviously klaine is number oneee. partly bc come on, it's klaine. but besides that, again, it's a musical show and i want a big over the top musical proposal! this delivers on that in spades. the whole like meta-ness of acting like they need to do this for america is weird but easier to ignore lmao. the song is very cute and you know im glad it happened during beatles week bc we know what their music means to both kurt and blaine. taking it back to where they both met. the bright and colorful outfits. kurt being welcomed and surrounded by all the people he loves and marveling at the spectacle of it all and blaine like playing to the crowd before they zero in on one another and finish the proposal like no one else in the world exists. ugh it feeds my soul and i love it forever (even if they werent really ready quite yet)
