Hey guys, today I wanted to post resources for food insecurity and where to look.
Since both November and December are very busy holiday seasons, and both are extremely food focused holidays, I wanted to start with that. In the United States, every state has a different website/ method to finding local food banks, how to verify them and to see if they follow the protocol for their state. So if you're curious about smaller food pantries in your area, I would search for those first through your towns local pages.
If you're unsure of where to start, I found a few that will let you search the U.S. by zip code and show food pantries on the map closest to you. I also found one that searches other countries for their food bank locations.
Please spread the word for those who may need it, some people feel as though they can't ask for help or don't deserve the help, and maybe finding some local places that they can call or that makes deliveries will keep your loved ones fed this holiday season. If you guys have any suggestions/ additions, please feel free to add them to this post. Consider also making donations if you can, whether it be monetary or physical donations. I understand that donations aren't possible for everyone, so even sharing these resources with others can be helpful.
Edit: I have added more organizations since originally posting.

Disability Tumblr, should I be more concerned than normal if my dad mentioned that when I fainted during one of my dizzy spells it "sounded like I fell 17 times" or something similar?
I feel like I should be concerned, but Google is being no help -_-
