Come and Rest
Exhausted from carrying burdens that were never meant to be yours?
Jesus extends the most beautiful invitation to every tired soul: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Notice He doesn't say "figure it out first" or "clean up your act." He simply says "come."
Come with your anxiety about tomorrow. Come with your regrets from yesterday. Come with your struggles from today.
The word "rest" here isn't just about sleep - it's about relief, refreshment, and peace for your soul.
That weight you've been carrying on your shoulders? Jesus wants to carry it. That burden that's crushing your spirit? He's strong enough to lift it. That worry that's stealing your sleep? He's got it covered.
You weren't designed to carry life's heaviest loads alone. You were designed to bring them to the One who can actually handle them.
Today, accept His invitation. Come to Jesus and find the rest your soul has been desperately seeking.
Psalm 62:5 (NIV) - Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. — Matthew 11:28-30 | King James Version (KJV) The King James Version of the Holy Bible is in the public domain.
For those who love darkness.

Faster, newer, bigger, better—these are the words that define success in our modern world. But what if, in all our…
