Okay seeing everyone posting about how after that emotional scene with the d&d binders they all go upstairs together to eat lasagna so maybe things are actually ok lol has me thinking and like how do we know that this isn’t just Mike in his bedroom in the apartment he shares with Will? Or his dorm room on campus at the college he and Will attend together?
And similarly how do we know this is a romantic prospect? Like there is absolutely nothing explicitly romantic about this interaction like that could just be one of Will’s new queer friends. Broadening his circle to include people in the queer community certainly counts to me as “finding his place” and “deep acceptance” or whatever.
All he did was hold his FOREARM and talk to him… like okay okay I get the implication that this would be a romantic connection but why tf do I have to believe their implications if they’re meaningless anyway… like they could’ve done ANYTHING like a kiss on the cheek, or showing him show up to a table for two…
Anyway what I’m getting at is Will is just meeting up with a new friend but trust Mike just couldn’t go because he had a late shift or had to study or something… that is Will’s real man idc that’s who he goes home to
This is now true to me and no one can tell me it’s not because apparently 50% of the storylines happened off-screen so anything is possible ❤️
