Penultimate Finding Feebus show at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park tonight. ;_; I’ll miss the band (I think I might like it more than RJ’s solo project that I sing on, shh don’t tell him) but the folks involved ultimately have to do what’s best for themselves. The album is already recorded and will be released through a local label in October, so we have that to look forward to at least. The final show will be in Highland Park, NJ this Saturday.

Scenes from the Finding Feebus road tour July 2019
Played the Asbury Park Yacht Club (just off the boardwalk) on Thursday, the Station in Carrsboro NC on Friday but the set ended halfway through bc of a downed power line outside, so then Alejandro played Beatles covers and “Girl from Ipanema” until everyone went home.
Then Second Wind and an encore set at the Station on Saturday.... those sets were tons of fun, probably the tightest I’ve ever seen this band. A bunch of musicians were in town for the Merge festival that weekend, Veronica thinks she spotted Aimee Mann listening by the doorway!
And then we drove 10 hours back to New Jersey on Sunday...
I heard no one will watch vertical video, so these are horizontal! Go me!
All of these are going on the new album due out in October... Except “Wicked Game” which is a Chris Isaack cover with REALLY bad background singing courtesy of yours truly.
Finding Feebus 6-28-19
The previous post reminded me that I never did post anything for Finding Feebus last week...
This was the best of a bunch of bad photos, it was pretty hard to get everyone in the shot at the same time. All the parts are crucial to their sound though, it's sort of like... Melodic pop punk with Peruvian jazz guitar flair...
I took a few videos but this is the only one not turned sideways, enjoy:
I think I have mentioned RJ before, maybe a few times when his album (that I do backup harmonies on) came out last summer. But I don't think I ever talked about the other band he drums in... They are very good cathartic emo singalong pop punk and just got picked up by a local label, give em a listen if you're so inclined.
Sadly, no relationship to the Pokemon, apart from the band name.
